Given the over-the-top hatred that the Democratic Party has shown for Donald Trump, it’s more than a little surprising to find current liberal politicians who are willing to admit that the former President did, in fact, get some things right.

The left has turned dragging The Don into a sport of sorts, bending his words and their morals into all sort of unnatural shapes in an attempt to politically damage the presumptive Republican nominee for 2024.

But there are some things that even the staunchest of Democrats can’t deny about Donald Trump, and the trouble with TikTok is one of them.

Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., says former President Donald Trump “was right” to go after the China-owned video-sharing app TikTok.

Warner made the comments during an appearance on Fox News Sunday, telling host Shannon Bream that the app represents a major threat to Americans’ privacy. He also warned parents against allowing their children to download the app on their phones.

Warner didn’t mince his words.

“Well, I think Donald Trump was right. I mean, TikTok is an enormous threat,” Warner told Bream. “So, if you’re a parent, and you’ve got a kid on TikTok, I would be very, very concerned. All of that data that your child is inputting and receiving is being stored somewhere in Beijing.”

Not only is TikTok harvesting data on US users, but the app is also said to be catering their algorithms in nefarious ways, sending US users far different, and often far more degrading content in what some have seen as a way to “dumb down” American users.
