The liberal left has been up in arms of late, as an immigration reform advocacy campaign undertaken by a border state governor has proven to be highly effective.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott, whose state has bore the brunt of illegal immigration into America, has been begging and pleading with the federal government for help to no avail. Even the appointment of Vice President Kamala Harris as “border czar” has provided absolutely nothing to the equation, leading Abbott and others to undertake a rather pointed and poignant advocacy campaign that includes busing migrants to distinct, liberal locations.
Now, as the nation begins to understand the problem more fully via this educational action, the Biden administration is feigning anger.
Abdullah Hasan, a spokesman for Biden’s White House, released a statement condemning the migrant buses and suggesting that Abbott put the border crossers in harm’s way.
“Governor Abbott abandoned children on the side of the road in below-freezing temperatures on Christmas Eve without coordinating with any federal or local authorities,” Hasan said. “This was a cruel, dangerous and shameful stunt.”
Of course, Biden’s team bears some responsibility here.
Biden’s condemning Abbott’s migrant buses comes as his administration has released over a million border crossers and illegal aliens into the United States interior since taking office.
From February 2021 to October 2022, estimates indicate that the Biden administration has released some 1.4 million border crossers and illegal aliens American towns and cities — leaving all to deal with the immense social, economic, and cultural costs of illegal immigration.
Of course, it should be noted that such a vitriolic response to Abbott’s lesson simply means that it’s working, and that the Biden administration’s faults are being exposed.
