With all the great things Biden has done for the country, one wonders what’s with the fence (heavy sarcasm).
That’s right, Biden has ordered the temporary fence be erected at the Capitol before his State of the Union speech.
The fence is back up around the Capitol for SOTU because Biden knows walls work on the ground.

On Sunday, work crews were spotted at the Capitol reinstalling fencing around the building.
The fence was first put in the aftermath of the January 6 Capitol Riot in 2021, but was taken several months later.
SInce then, the fence has been briefly re-installed twice. Once was for a rally in September 2021 that was organized to support people who remained jailed in connection with the insurrection, and once again ahead of President Biden’s State of the Union address in February 2022.This installation of the fencing comes as U.S. Capitol Police continue to make preparations for the President’s State of the Union address.
On Saturday, U.S. Capitol Police announced a list of road closures that will take effect on Tuesday for the areas surrounding the U.S. Capitol.
In 2022, Biden surrounded the Capitol with fencing and created an inner perimeter patrolled by 700 National Guard troops.
Biden seems to be more worried about the border around the Capitol than the United States’ southern border and our airspace.
Meanwhile, Biden has been at Camp David and no one is sure when he’ll return to DC. Presumably, it will be before his scheduled State of the Union speech scheduled for Tuesday (February 6, 2023) at 9 pm.
