Not sure if you remember Miguel Cardona.

Cardona was originally from the National School Boards Association and orchestrated the letter to the Biden administration, calling parents who wanted the end of school mandates “domestic terrorists” and prompting the DOJ to investigate.

He then resigned from the NSBA and joined the Biden Administration.

While speaking to several elites in Jackson Hole at the Western Governors’ Associate winter meeting, he completely embarrassed himself.

“You know, we’re going to set up follow up calls for every governor we met with to make sure we’re available,” Cardona said. “As I think it was President Reagan who said: ‘We’re from the government. We’re here to help.'”

Here’s what Reagan actually said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the Government, and I’m here to help. ”

Despite Cardona being the Secretary of Education history doesn’t seem to be his strong suit.

What’s even funnier is that Cardona probably doesn’t realize Reagan wanted to abolish the Department of Education.

Reagan said in 1981, “By eliminating the Department of Education less than 2 years after it was created, we cannot only reduce the budget but ensure that local needs and preferences, rather than the wishes of Washington, determine the education of our children.”

Oh if Reagan was till alive today.

The guy literally responsible for getting the Biden administration to probe parents who are advocating what they is best for their kids tries to invoke Reagan.

Cardona is exactly what Reagan was worried about.
