The National Christmas Tree at the White House which was planted on October 30, 2021 was having issues.

The tree got sick.

According to the National Park Service it was infected with needle cast which is a fungal disease that causes needles on evergreen tress like spruce and pines to turn brown and fall off.

But don’t worry, a new 40-foot Norway spruce from Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia was planted in the Eclipse south of the White House.

The replacement came just weeks before the National Christmas Tree Lighting which is scheduled to occur on November 30, 2023.

How fitting a comparison, the tree is not the only thing broken:

Is he drunk (heavy sarcasm)?

Ya think?
